There are a pair of meetings on tap for today (February 17th) in the City of Manitowoc.
Up first is the Finance Committee, which will be in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. After hearing comments from the public, the group will hold a hearing on the denial of a taxicab driver’s license for an individual.
Then, at 6:30 p.m. the Common Council will take over the Chambers. Detective Alex Nebal, Captain of Detectives Cooper Schmidt, and Police Lieutenant Matthew Klein will all have their oath of office administered before Mayor Justin Nickels congratulates K9 Neko on his retirement.
The public will then be given time to voice input before the council reviews an agreement with CivicPlus for some Parks and Recreation Software.
