The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources wants to hear from residents about its wildlife management.
The DNR is in the process of drafting a strategic plan for how they manage the state’s wildlife, including habitats and endangered species.
This plan will guide how the DNR’s Wildlife Program works and what they decide to prioritize across the state over the coming years.
With the strategic plan coming together, the DNR now wants to hear comments, concerns, and recommendations that Wisconsinites might have.
Those interested in submitting comments can do so online by visiting the DNR’s Wildlife Management Strategic Plan Updates webpage.
The submission process is expected to take approximately ten minutes to complete and for input to be considered, submissions must be submitted no later than Friday, February 28th.
