
The second season begins next week for Wisconsin’s high school girls’ basketball teams.
Manitowoc Lincoln will open regional play in Division One against the Redbirds at De Pere on Friday, February 28th.
In Division Four, Manitowoc Lutheran received the number one seed in their bracket and will open at home on Friday, February 28th, against the winner of Howards Grove and Kohler. That game will be played in Kohler on Tuesday, February 25th.
Other Division Four games have Roncalli traveling to Cedar/Grove/Belgium, to meet The Rockets on February 25th. The winner meets Kewaunee in Kewaunee on February 28th.
Valders received a three-seed and await the winner of Mishicot at Algoma. That game is February 25th in Algoma. Brillion hosts Southern Door on February 25th, with the winner traveling to four-seed St. Mary Springs in Fond Du Lac on February 28th.
Elsewhere in Division Four, St. Mary Catholic and Bonduel are the one and two-seeds on the opposite side of the bracket and have opening-round byes.
In Division Three, Two Rivers hosts Ripon on February 25th, and the winner travels to top seed Winneconne on February 28th. New Holstein heads to Chilton on February 25th, with the winner to play at Kiel on February 28th.
Denmark, with a six-seed, hosts Wautoma next Tuesday night. Omro will host the winner on February 28th, while Sheboygan Falls and Oostburg received opening night byes and will host the regional semifinals on February 28th.
Division Five matchups on February 25th have Reedsville, an 11-seed, traveling to six-seed Central Wisconsin Christian of Waupun, top-seed Sheboygan Lutheran hosting Rio Sheboygan Christian at Wild Rose, Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah traveling to Oshkosh to meet Valley Christian.
Other games in Division Five include Hilbert, who is on the road for Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran at Suring, and Ozaukee, who has a road trip to Wisconsin Heights.
In Division Two, Plymouth hosts Sheboygan South next Tuesday. The winner will travel to West De Pere on February 28th.
Also, Antigo will visit Green Bay East in Division Two, and Green Bay Southwest will head to New London.
On February 28th, Menasha visits Ashwaubenon, and Luxemburg Casco hosts Pulaski. All games begin at 7 p.m.
