With a snowstorm behind us and another on the way, the City of Sheboygan has issued a Snow Emergency.
The Snow Emergency took effect yesterday (February 13th) at 6:00 a.m.
All-day alternate side-of-the-street parking is also in effect and, today (February 14th), residents are required to park on the even side of streets in Sheboygan.
The city asks residents to move their vehicles to the alternate side of the street promptly after the streets have been plowed and to do so no later than midnight.
It is also highly recommended for motorists to park off the street if possible. The Sheboygan Police Department has said they and tow trucks are out enforcing the declaration of the emergency.
With more snow forecasted for tonight and into tomorrow (February 15th), Sheboygan residents are encouraged to stay up to date with the parking guidelines and Snow Emergency rules.
