Homeowners in Sheboygan may be eligible for financial assistance to make home repairs.
The City of Sheboygan is offering Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) to homeowners via the Housing Rehab Program.
To be eligible for this financial assistance, individuals must own and live in their home located in the city and be current on their property tax and mortgage payments.
Additionally, to qualify, a gross household income must be at or below 80 percent of the county median income, and a homeowner must be in need of making repairs to make their house safe, sanitary, or more accessible.
