Mass closures of Joann Fabrics stores across the country will include locations in Northeastern Wisconsin.
The company released a statement on Wednesday (February 12th) revealing that they will be closing approximately 500 stores nationwide after voluntarily filing for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy last month.
Of these roughly 500 stores set to close their doors, three to be shuttered include Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, and Sheboygan locations.
In total, 16 stores across the state are scheduled to close their doors as well.
Joann Fabrics has said that some stores will remain open in the U.S.; however, the extensive closures are “the best course of action to maximize the value of the business.”
No word has been given as to when the three Northeastern Wisconsin locations will officially cease operations.
