Yet another law enforcement scam has been reported, this time in Sheboygan County.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public that they have received calls from residents claiming Captain Corey Norlander was attempting to contact them with an urgent matter.
The Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that these calls are the work of scammers and that Captain Norlander has not reached out to anyone recently regarding an urgent matter.
They have also described this as a “blatant attempt to scam our hard-working citizens.”
Currently, sheriff’s deputies are working to get this most recent impersonation scam shut down.
