Officers in Green Bay spent Super Bowl Sunday dealing with an incident involving a firearm.
The Green Bay Police Department responded to a local bar in the 600 block of Lime Kiln Road on Sunday (February 9th) for a disturbance call.
The incident involved a reported fight between two groups of people inside the establishment.
While on the scene, officers discovered that one of the individuals involved in the fight was carrying a gun.
The unidentified individual was subsequently arrested on suspicion of intoxication with a firearm in possession and for having a gun in a business that prohibits weapons inside.
No injuries were reported.
However, the Green Bay Police Department would like to remind the public that not only is it against state law to possess a gun on the premises of an establishment with signage displaying the restriction of firearms or weapons, but it is also illegal in Wisconsin to be in the possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
