The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office will be celebrating some retirements.
With Undersheriff Brian Nack already retired and Captain Mike Polich’s retirement coming up tomorrow (February 14th), the sheriff’s office decided to hold an official celebration.
Nack started his journey in law enforcement when he was hired by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office in February 1992 as a patrol deputy.
He was then assigned as a Canine Handler where he served with his K9 Apollo from 1998 to 2005.
He was promoted to patrol sergeant in February 05 and then became a lieutenant in 2007.
After becoming a patrol shift commander in 2019, he became the undersheriff and finished his career in that role.
The Sheriff’s Office explains that Nack always maintained a professional, dedicated, thorough, passionate, and skilled approach to his responsibilities.
He was also thanked for his dedication and passion for everyone he encountered.
Manitowoc County Sheriff’s deputies finish saying they wish him a healthy retirement filled with joy, relaxation, new adventures, and quality time with family.
