A sweep was completed by the Manitowoc Lincoln girls’ basketball team.
The Shipbuilders picked up a 71-35 victory against the Sheboygan South Red Wings. They beat South last month at the JFK by a score of 54-35.
In yesterday’s game, Junior Sarah Bolchen led the Ships with 24 points followed by Kendall Schmitz with 18.
Taylor Peterson also finished in double figures with 12 points. For the Red Wings, Danica Zajkowski had a team high of 12 points.
The Shipbuilder’s girls’ team continues a five-game road trip with a visit to Pulaski on Friday.
They improve to 12-8 on the year, 8-7 in FRCC play.
The Red Wings fell to 3-17 on the year with the loss.
