A Janesville man has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of the mother of his child.
Logan Barclay, who pleaded guilty to first-degree intentional homicide, was handed a 50-year prison sentence yesterday.
Prosecutors say Barclay lured Kiersten Hansen to a secluded area on Peace Trail in Janesville last April, where he shot her in the stomach and left her to die.
The incident occurred after a dispute over the possibility that Hansen might be pregnant.
Barclay will not be eligible for parole until 2075.
