The Sheboygan City Plan Commission is set to meet while taking on additional duties.
During the most recent Common Council meetings, they have been voting and approving for the Plan Commission to assume the responsibilities of the Architectural Review Board which has been eliminated.
At the City Plan Commission today (February 11th), they will be reviewing a conditional use permit for the construction of a multi-tenant convenience store and service station located at 3207 South Business Drive.
Additionally, they will review a proposal from Jake Bruswell of Knothe and Bruce Architects for the construction of the Jakum Hall Apartments complex at 2601 North 15th Street.
This proposal includes both a general development plan and a specific implementation plan from Knothe and Bruce Architects which would see two buildings consisting of 33 units.
Each building would be three stories, featuring a diverse mix of unit types.
The Jakum Hall Apartments project was approved last year by the Sheboygan Common Council to bring additional affordable housing to the city.
