A school in Green Bay will be getting a special visit from the Famous Racing Sausages of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Nicolet Elementary School will host the racing sausages as part of the “Froze Racing Sausage” tour, honoring local communities across Wisconsin this month ahead of this spring’s MLB season.
The event will include an official race by the Famous Racing Sausages, a surprise for an unsuspecting teacher with the Brewer Grand Slam Teacher Award, and a donation to the school.
Brewers’ leadership will also talk about the importance of the local community to the Brewers.
This will be the first season after the Brewers signed a new lease to remain in Wisconsin until 2050.
