There is a new president of the Mental Health America Lakeshore Board of Directors.
The board has appointed Barbra Klug as the leader of the board, while Nicole Moriarty was named the Treasurer.
MHA Lakeshore Executive Director Julie Preder said in the announcement that while Klug has only been on the board since 2023, she has “supported MHA Lakeshore with true dedication and will be a true leader in her newly assigned role as president.”
Additionally, longtime board member Reverand Kristal Klemme has stepped down from the board.
She joined the board in 2019, and Preder says her “passion for empowering individuals to live their best lives shines through in everything she does for our community and our organization.”
Stepping into the vacant position is Amy Odekirk, the Director of Development at the Aurora Health Care Foundation.
