The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) has released its top ten consumer complaints for 2024.
For the third year in a row, landlord/tenant issues topped the list, with over 2,500 complaints received.
Telemarketing was second, with over 1,500 calls received, marking the third year in a row it was runner-up.
Telemarketing was the most complained about issue in 2020 and 2021.
Rounding out the top five, with 140 complaints separating them, are home improvement, identity theft, and telecommunications.
Also cracking the top ten were medical service, motor vehicle repair, motor vehicle sales, travel, and motor vehicle accessory complains.
