Kelsey Ball is promoted to Manager – Field Claims. Kelsey started her Acuity career in 2014 as a Claims Representative. Kelsey earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Indiana University and her master’s degree in risk and insurance from Butler University. She holds the Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA), Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Insurance (AINS), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), and Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) professional designations. Kelsey resides in Cicero, Indiana.
April Batzler is promoted to Director – Staff Project Management. April joined Acuity in June 2013 as a Business Analyst. She was promoted to Senior Business Analyst in 2019 and Project Management Consultant in 2024. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. April resides in Plymouth, Wisconsin.
Ryan Degnitz is promoted to General Manager – Finance. Ryan started his Acuity career in July 2004 as Director – Finance. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Carthage College and an executive education professional development certificate in advanced management and leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business. Ryan holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) professional designations. He resides in Grafton, Wisconsin.
Kristy Mittag is promoted to Manager – Central Claims. Kristy started her Acuity career in September 2005 as a Claims Customer Service Representative. She was promoted to Claims Representative in 2009 and Senior Claims Representative in 2013. Kristy earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood – special education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and holds the Certified Claims Professional (CCP) and Advanced Claims Professional (ACP) designations. She resides in Oostburg, Wisconsin.
Joe Oh is promoted to Senior Insight and Analytics Analyst. Joe joined Acuity in April 2021 as an Insights and Analytics Analyst. He earned his master’s degree in applied economics from Marquette University and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Norbert College. Joe resides in Brown Deer, Wisconsin.
Mike Rindt is promoted to General Manager – Claims Administration. Mike started his Acuity career in 2014 as Manager of Special Investigations Unit. Prior to Acuity, Mike spent 20 years in law enforcement. He started as a deputy at the Washington County Sheriff’s Department and was promoted to detective in 1998. Mike accepted a position as a Special Agent with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigations (DOJ/DCI) in 2004, and he was promoted to Director/Wisconsin State Fire Marshal at the DOJ/DCI in 2013. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Certified Fire Investigator. He resides in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Chelsea Shireman is promoted to General Manager – Commercial Processing. Chelsea started her Acuity career as a Commercial Processor in 2004. She was promoted to Senior Commercial Processor in June 2018 and Services Manager – Commercial Processing in September 2018. Chelsea holds a degree in business management with an emphasis in human resource management from Lakeland University and earned the Associate in Insurance (AINS) designation. She resides in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.
Bryan Seiter is promoted to Manager – Product Strategy. Bryan joined Acuity in June 2024 as Regional Market Director. Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational psychology from Missouri Western State University and a master’s degree in organizational psychology with an emphasis in accounting from Northwest Missouri State University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in industrial organizational psychology at Grand Canyon University. Additionally, Bryan has earned the Associate in General Underwriting (AU) designation. He resides in Missouri.
