High winds in the area overturned a semi-truck on Interstate 43.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and Branch Fire and Rescue responded to the incident yesterday afternoon (February 6th) near the City of Manitowoc.
Wind gusts as high as 50MPH tipped the semi on its side, blocking both northbound lanes of I-43.
The driver was not injured, and no additional motorists were harmed.
Authorities say the truck was not hauling any goods and was quickly flipped upright before being towed away.
