The Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan County has revealed its youth award winners for 2024.
The organization has announced that their 2024 Youth of the Year winner is Alen, who has been a club member since the second grade.
Alen is well-known for being a kind and thoughtful leader who makes others feel at ease.
Speaking on what the Boys and Girls Club means to him, Alen said, “Every teen needs a caring adult to go to. If it wasn’t for the Club, I’d still be struggling.”
While club CEO Christina Singh said, “Alen makes everyone around him better. He’s incredibly genuine, compassionate, and has big aspirations that inspire others.”
Junior Youth of the Year winners were also announced and included Kassidy of Longfellow, Kylie from Jefferson Elementary, Emalyn of Sheboygan Falls, La’Raiyah representing Cooper Elementary, and Allie from Lake Country Academy.
In their announcement of the winners, the Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan County noted how proud they were of all nominees, not just the winners, for their leadership and dedication to the club.
