Some projects in Two Rivers could be affected by a federal funding pause.
City Manager Greg Buckley said on WOMT’s Be My Guest program that some city projects include money from federal grant funding.
Because President Trump’s executive order paused funding, Buckley says the city is keeping a close eye on what will happen next.

Last month, the Two Rivers City Council also approved a contract for a major shoreline planning initiative to see what could be done between the Lighthouse Inn and Chamber Manitowoc County.
Buckley says that is on hold right now.
The executive order was rescinded by Trump’s budget office following confusion.
However, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said during a conference, “The Executive Orders issued by the President on funding reviews remain in full force and effect and will be rigorously implemented by all agencies and departments.”
