One of the men charged in a 2022 Green Bay homicide has been convicted.
Fox 11 reports that 34-year-old Alejandro Cantu pleaded no contest to his role in the shooting death of Randall Denny.
Alejandro was also convicted of three drug-related offenses.
He was initially facing charges of 1st-degree intentional homicide as a party to the crime before it was reduced to felony murder.
He was scheduled to stand trial with his brother, Gustavo Cantu after a judge ruled that the brothers should stand trial together.
Denny’s murder at the intersection of Perkins and Western Avenues in 2022 appeared to be tied to a drug deal.
A third suspect in the case, Jacob Ventura, is getting a separate case after offering a statement about the Cantu’s.
He’ll return to court on March 10th. Alejandro is set to be sentenced at the end of March.
