There’s a new drug drop-off box at the Brillion Police Department.
The Brillion Police Department announced they got funding through Calumet County to get the drop box.
They ask residents to keep their homes safe by disposing of unused medications regularly.
Brillion Police also recommend putting any pills in a Ziplock-type bag and dropping them that way.
The department thanks Calumet County for its partnership and for working to keep citizens safe.
The drug drop box explains that prescriptions, including over-the-counter and for pets, are acceptable.
Residents can also bring expired vitamins, prescription ointments, and patches.
Police will not take items like needles, inhalers, or aerosol cans.
