
A night of awards was given during the Cleveland Fire Department’s annual meeting.
During the meeting, area first responders were given several awards for various things.
Awards included Dan Bruckschen winning Officer of the Year, Jacob Bellmore winning Firefighter of the Year, and Matt Lutze earning First Responder of the Year.
The Cleveland Fire Department also reported another busy year for calls.
There were 243 total calls for service, including 171 EMS calls, 27 vehicle accidents, and 13 calls for smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, among others.
The fire department welcomed three new members, including Firefighter Holly Hoffmann, Firefighter/Paramedic Cameron Karsteadt, and First Responder Tyler McGeary.
