One person is dead following a UTV crash in Door County.
The Door County Sheriff’s Office was called yesterday (February 4th) just after 11:15 a.m. on a report of the single UTV crash at North Stevenson Pier Road and Stevenson Pier Lane.
Initial investigations show that the unidentified male driver of the UTV was traveling southbound on North Stevenson Pier Road before leaving the roadway.
The UTV then overturned in the east ditch and the driver, the lone occupant, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Department of Natural Resources’ investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing and no additional information is available at this time.
Emergency personnel from the Brussels Union Gardner Emergency Medical Responders, Brussels Union Gardner Fire Department, Door County Emergency Services, and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources responded to the incident.
