
A person was arrested in Grand Chute after driving the wrong way on the interstate.
Officers with the Grand Chute Police Department were dispatched to Interstate 41 in the early morning hours of January 26th on numerous reports of the wrong-way driver, beginning at North Richmond Street.
Shortly after being dispatched, an officer located a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes near West Wisconsin Avenue.
The officer was able to stop the vehicle without incident after the driver traveled in the wrong direction for nearly four miles on I-41.
The driver was subsequently arrested for OWI.
