The Manitowoc man arrested on drug charges over the weekend is free on bond.
44-year-old William P. Bieberitz was given a $2,500 recognizance bond on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia.
Police were called to Bieberitz’s home last week Friday (January 31st) after receiving a child neglect complaint.
Bieberitz was said to be cooperative with police after they found a baggie of meth on a table, and admitted to using the drug two to three times a week to help him sleep.
As a part of his bond, Bieberitz was ordered to have no contact with any known drug dealers or users, to maintain absolute sobriety, and to not possess any controlled substances without a valid prescription.
Bieberitz is due for his initial appearance on February 24th.
