
Voting booths stand ready for use in a U.S. election.
It is officially spring election season in the City of Sheboygan.
In-person absentee voting for the city’s spring election kicked off today (February 4th) at City Hall, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and will close on February 14th at 11:00 a.m.
In-person absentee voting will be held Monday through Friday for the next two weeks, opening at 7:30 a.m. each day and closing at 4:30 p.m., with the exception of Friday the 7th and 14th when polls will close at 11:00 a.m.
On the ballot for Sheboyganites this election cycle will be incumbent Mayor Ryan Sorenson seeking reelection against challenger and City Alder, John Belanger.
Council Seats up for election have Alders Barb Felde, Daniel Peterson, Grazia Perella, and Trey Mitchell also seeking reelection in Districts 1, 3, 7, and 9, respectively while District 5 Alder Angela Ramey has filed for noncandidacy.
