The 6-foot-two-inch forward shoots 48 percent from distance, according to information provided by wissports.net .
His teammate, senior Derek Laabs is no chopped liver. The six-foot guard shoots better than 41 percent from distance, good for ninth place in the state.
In Division Three-senior Eli Gallagher is sixth best in shooting percentage from downtown, checking in this week just shy of 40 percent.
Brillion senior Owen Krepline is seventh best in Division Two, shooting better than 44 percent from distance.
In Division Five, Senior Brayden Smith of Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah shoots 42-point-two percent from three-point land, good for second in the state.
Senior guard Andrew Krueger of Sheboygan Lutheran is ranked eighth in D-5, with a downtown shooting percentage of 38-point-two percent, while Sheboygan Christian’s Josh Kautzer is close behind. The six-four-inch senior is at 38-point-one percent and ranked ninth.
For the girls, Roncalli senior Lauren Stangel debuts in the rankings in Division Four. The sharpshooting senior is tenth best in Wisconsin from distance, shooting it at just shy of 33 percent.
Sheboygan Lutheran teammates, junior guard Samantha Gilchrist, and senior guard Addy Verhagen are sixth and eighth, respectively, in Division Five.
Gilchrist shoots 34 percent from the three-ball, and Verhagen checks in at 33-point-six percent.
The competition concludes at the end of the regular season.
The top two finishers in each division, for boys and girls, provided they meet qualifying requirements, will participate in their respective 3-point state tournament challenges next month in Ashwaubenon and Madison.
