Two firefighters in Fond du Lac were recently promoted within the department.
The City of Fond du Lac Fire Rescue has announced the promotions of Phil Seibel and Andrew Aird. Aird, a 15-year veteran of the department, has been promoted to Assistant Fire Chief.
Over his career in Fond du Lac, Aird has held the positions of Firefighter Paramedic, EMS Lieutenant, and most recently Fire Lieutenant.
Seibel has been with the department for a decorated 13 years and has been promoted to Lieutenant.
In his time, he has been named Paramedic of the Year and has received multiple Units Citations.
After their announcement, Fond du Lac Fire Rescue congratulated both on their promotions and thanked them for the work they’ve done over their past decade-plus of work.
