A child neglect complaint in Manitowoc turned into a drug arrest.
Officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of Columbus Street Friday (January 31st) to investigate an active child neglect complaint.
The complaint stated that a juvenile at the home was making sexualized statements and may have been exposed to controlled substances.
Officers located a baggie of methamphetamine on a table in the residence, which a 44-year-old man admitted was his.
Officers noted that the man was cooperative with the investigation, admitting to using the drug two to three times a week and pointing out other items he uses to ingest the meth.
The man was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia.
