
The Manitowoc County Historical Society is getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit with an upcoming event.
“Victorian Romance” will be held at Pinecrest Historical Village on Saturday, February 15th starting at 11:00 a.m.
Guests will get to explore a handful of historic buildings in the Village while learning how Victorian woman crafted their iconic skirts and dresses.
The program will also include a Valentine’s Day Blacksmith Hearts workshop, which is sold out, and a Victorian Era Decorative boxes class, as part of the Create-Connect heritage skills series.
There will also be a horse-drawn sleigh driving with an old-fashioned sleigh rally and the blacksmiths will be in the shop showcasing their trade skills.
Admission is $15 for adults, $13 for those 62 and older, and $10 for children 4 to 17.
Children younger than 4 and MCHS members will get in for free.
