
No one was injured during a fire in Little Chute.
The Little Chute Fire Department was called to the 900 block of East Elm Drive yesterday (January 30th) just before 10:30 p.m. with the initial call reporting a stove fire with moderate smoke.
Arriving fire crews made entry to the home and observed that the fire had extended to the surrounding area of the stove.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and prevent further spread.
After the flames were put out, the home was ventilated, and the scene was closed.
No injuries were reported, damage estimates are unknown, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
After the incident, the Little Chute Fire Department reminded residents of the importance of keeping a fire extinguisher and fire blanket nearby.
