
Four pets were rescued during a house fire in Sheboygan.
Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a report of a structure fire in the 2200 block of North 10th Street just after 1:00 yesterday afternoon (January 30th).
At the same time, a witness told a nearby EMS crew about the fire, which the Sheboygan Fire Department said was vital in keeping the fire from spreading.
The blaze was on the second floor of the home and was extinguished while crews checked for any additional residents inside.
Crews also helped a dog and three cats out of the home.
There were no injuries reported, however, the six residents were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
It is estimated that the blaze caused around $75,000 in damage.
