Most counties in Eastern Wisconsin are seeing a rise in gas prices for the second consecutive week.
As reported on AAA’s Gas Prices webpage, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of fuel is up four cents from this time last week to $2.98.
That is the biggest jump reported this week, while Sheboygan County saw a three-cent bump to $2.92.
Outagamie and Kewaunee Counties each reported a two-cent increase to $2.92 and $3.01 per gallon, respectively, while Calumet County’s average remained unchanged at $2.97.
Brown and Door Counties were the only areas to see declines at the pump, with Brown County’s average dropping four cents to $2.92 and Door County motorists are paying a penny less with an average of $2.97 per gallon.
The state average swelled one cent to $2.94 while the national average dropped a penny to $3.12.
These are the averages for the counties, so the price at individual pumps may be higher or lower.
