A volunteer firefighter has been charged with repeated sexual assault of a child.
According to NBC26, 26-year-old Spencer Husak has served as a volunteer firefighter in the Town of Wilson in Sheboygan County.
He’s accused of sexually assaulting a child multiple times while the child was between the ages of 8 and 11.
The criminal complaint alleges Husak had multiple instances of inappropriate sexual contact between February 2019 and July 2022, including forcing the victim onto his lap and touching her inappropriately.
His next court date is set for February 12th for a bond hearing.
He has pleaded not guilty in the case. He’s still in the Sheboygan County Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond.
