The Manitowoc Lincoln and Valders/Roncalli gymnastics teams had a very close meet Monday night.
The Ships pulled out the win by a score of 128.625 to 126.710 thanks to a pair of first-place finishes by Khloe Jalbert.
She took the top spots on the Vault and Bars, however, Addison Spindler and Clara Sieracki tied her score on the Vault, and Sieracki scored an identical 7.85 on the Bars while also finishing on top on the beam and in the All Around.
Devin Talley had the best floor routine, while Erin Brochardt finished 2nd on the beam, and earned silver in the all-around.
Jalbert, despite her two gold medals, was 3rd on the beam and in the all-around.
The Ships will be in action next Monday (February 3rd) as they travel to Kaukauna, while Valders/Two Rivers will be in Antigo for a nine-school meet on Saturday.
