The Woodland Dunes Nature Preserve is looking to go big for the last year of an island-themed fundraiser.
The 9th Annual Tropical Blast kicks off on Saturday, February 22nd beginning at 5:00 pm at the Sepia Chapel in Two Rivers.
Communications Coordinator Nancy Nabak says while it’s the last time, “there are new ideas on the horizon.”
Woodland Dunes wants to raise $60,000 to help their conservation goals and help serve children in need.
Nabak says 175,000 children have been helped since the event’s inception.
The fun will start with cocktail hour and Caribbean music.
Following that, dinner will be served along with a special raffle with real pineapples and a chance to win a kayak.
There will also be an auction with items like a Door County vacation, spa packages, and a private farm-to-table dinner for six up for grabs.
Registration is required and must be done by next Friday (February 7th).
