A teacher in Mishicot has been picked as a national ambassador.
The Mishicot School District announced that Jen Wachowski is one of only five teachers throughout the country to be chosen as part of the Women & The American Story Ambassador (WAMS).
WAMS is a curriculum provided by the New York Historical Society.
As an ambassador, Wachowski will help develop and promote the group by providing integral feedback on current and new materials and leading professional development design to bring it to more educators and students.
The curriculum is divided into ten units that discuss women’s history from 1492 to 2018.
