The trends for home sales continue to go up at the end of 2024.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA) report for December 2024 shows that the median price for a home in Manitowoc County was up from December 2023.
The average price was $228,000 in 2024 compared to $184,400 in 2023, a 23% increase.
Sales were also up, with 89 homes sold in December 2024 compared to 78 in 2023.
The average day home in Manitowoc County would stay on the market, up 13% compared to 2023.
In 2024, the average was 98 days compared to just 66 days the year before.
The WRA report shows strong closure throughout the state, with monthly home sales finishing at 5,125 for December 2024 compared to 4,694 in 2023.
Statewide listings also went up from 14,608 in 2023 to 15,170 in 2024.
The average median home price soared 13%, from 270,000 in 2023 to 305,000 in 2024.
