UW-Madison Division of Extension is inviting women to learn more about career options in the ag industry.
The Women in Agriculture Program titled “VITAL-Valuably Informed Thriving Agriculture Leader” is scheduled for March 7th at the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center.
The program aims to provide women with information on educational opportunities, help them connect with agricultural resources, and to create support networks.
Women in agriculture are encouraged to participate in this “day away from the farm” and connect with women who share the same experiences and challenges.
There is a $30 cost to attend, which must be submitted before February 25th, after which the price will increase to $35.
Registration includes a farm-to-table meal, breaks, and materials for the meeting.
You can register by contacting Extension Manitowoc County at 920-683-4183 or by going to go.wisc.edu/vital2025.
Any questions can be directed to Manitowoc County Agriculture Educator Angie Ulness at 920-683-4511 or angie.ulness@wisc.edu.
