The two candidates in the 2025 Manitowoc Mayoral race have agreed to a debate.
The Bold Blazer Group presents the 2025 Seehafer News Mayoral Debate, which will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, with Incumbent Justin Nickels and local businessman Jason Prigge both coming to the Seehafer Broadcasting Studios.
The debate will be simulcast on 107.9 FM WOMT and 97.1 FM WCUB and will be live-streamed at WOMTRadio.com and CubRadio.com starting at 9:05 a.m. with WOMT News Reporter Steven Devine moderating.
The UnitedOne Talk and Text Line will not be active during the debate, so any questions you have for the candidates should be submitted to News@SeehaferNews.com.
Nickels has served as mayor of Manitowoc since 2009, when he became the youngest mayor in the history of the City.
Prigge and his wife Tina are the owners of Vagabond Creative Studios and Coolest Coast in Manitowoc and have helped promote the lakeshore area since 2018.
The 2025 Spring Election will be held on April 1st, with several Common Council seats up for grabs in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
