Charges are now official for two Manitowoc residents facing drug and child neglect charges.
43-year-old James M. Heute and 41-year-old Cyanne L. Tracy remain in the Manitowoc County Jail on $1,000 cash bonds as they face charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and Drug Paraphernalia, as well as Child Neglect.
Tracy is also charged with Felony Bail Jumping.
The duo were arrested on Monday (January 20th) after the Manitowoc Police Department received reports of controlled substances being sold from their home in the 1300 block of South 22nd Street.
A child in the home was taken by the Manitowoc County Department of Human Services to be placed in temporary placement.
Tracy and Heute were ordered to have no contact with each other or the child unless approved by DHS, to not possess any controlled substances, and to maintain absolute sobriety.
Both are due back in court on January 27th for their initial appearances.
