The man and woman who fled from police K9s and drones late last week remain in the Manitowoc County Jail.
38-year-old Kasper Hang was given a $1,000 cash bond on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Fleeing/Eluding an Officer, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
At last word, 35-year-old Desiree Wayka was being held on a probation hold.
An officer with the Manitowoc Police Department noticed a vehicle driving without its lights on along Calumet Drive at around 10:30 last Friday evening (January 17th).
When they attempted to pull the vehicle over, Hang allegedly sped off and ditched the car near Halvorson Park.
Police K9 Riley was called to help search for the duo, as was a drone operator.
Hang and Wayka were found by the drone a short distance away, and both were apprehended.
The only condition attached to Hang’s bond is that he maintain absolute sobriety.
He is due back in court on Monday (January 27th) for his initial appearance.
