
The Wisconsin DNR is continuing a series about fisheries management in northeast Wisconsin.
Tonight (January 22nd), they will be at Fox Valley Technical College in Oshkosh from 6:00 to 8:00 pm to highlight various fisheries, with this meeting focusing on the history and status of lake sturgeon and walleye in the Winnebago System.
DNR staff will also cover how walleye is managed in the system, including a summary of annual survey efforts, regulations, and research projects to increase the knowledge of the walleye in the system.
