
Five new people have been inducted into the Manitowoc Lincoln Athletics Wall of Fame.
Seehafernews.com will be highlighting each one of these athletes, which starts with Margaret “Meg” Wolowicz.
She graduated back in 2015, and her athletic career is nothing beyond short of incredible.
She earned nine letters in her high school career in volleyball, basketball, and track.
In volleyball, Meg was a three-year letter winner, Team MVP, First-Team All-conference, Conference Co-Player of the year, and Third-Team All-State. After high school, Meg received an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Northern Illinois.
There, she was named to the Mid-American Conference All-Freshman team, Honorable Mention MAC in 2016, and First-Team MAC in 2017 and 2018.
Wolowicz graduated from Northern Illinois with a degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Services.
She was also given the opportunity to play professional volleyball overseas for six years, including in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Spain, and Germany.
She was named “Best Middle Blocker” while playing in Spain.
