The Boys and Girls Club has unveiled a newly renovated location in Sheboygan.
The Boys and Girls Club of Sheboygan County held a ribbon cutting last week for their location at Longfellow Elementary School, which has just completed an extensive renovation project.
At the event, attendees had the chance to tour the building and see what changes were made.
The Longfellow location was opened in 2013 and was in desperate need of improvements within the facilities.
At Longfellow, they offer both before and after-school programs.
Additionally, both the before and after school programs offered at the newly remodeled Boys and Girls Club are fully funded in cooperation with the Sheboygan Area School District and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant Program, meaning parents may place their children in either program, free of charge.
