The Department of Natural Resources is inviting Wisconsinites to voice opinions on natural resource management.
The Wisconsin Conservation Congress (WCC) will be accepting submissions as resolutions from residents regarding statewide conservation issues.
Submissions are open to the public until February 24th.
Submitted resolutions are required to have an effect on the entire state, be practical, reasonable, and achievable, and be within the mission and vision of the WCC.
Submissions are limited to two per person and will be reviewed by a committee of WCC delegates after February 24th.
Those meeting the criteria for inclusion will then be prepared for the WCC hearing agendas which begin in April.
Those interested in submitting a resolution or wanting more information on the WCC can visit dnr.wisconsin.gov.
