Wisconsin taxpayers have a new tool to simplify filing their state taxes this year.
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue has announced that the IRS Direct File system is now integrated with the WisTax state tax return platform.
This allows users of the IRS Direct File software to automatically import forms like W-2s and 1099s into their WisTax accounts.
The state’s individual tax filing season begins on January 27.
