The Brillion-Valders-Chilton Co-op boys swim team picked up four event wins and a team win Saturday in the pool at Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
BVC finished the day with 535 points, while the host Ships had 467.
Kiel-Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah finished 5th as a team with 186 points, followed by Two Rivers-Roncalli with 122, and Sheboygan Christian, who had 45.
Brillion-Valders-Chilton’s 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams of Kevin Halverson, Adam Brunnell, Killian Armstrong, and Bryce Hedtke finished in first place, while Halverson and Hedtke also won the 100 butterfly and 50 freestyle.
Manitowoc Lincoln’s Micha Stachovak earned a gold medal in the 100 freestyle, while Daniel Madson of the Kiel-Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Co-op earned three first-place finishes.
He was the top finisher in the 200 and 500 freestyle events and was a part of the fastest 200 freestyle relay team alongside Sam Keuler, Sawyer Moore, and Kaui Lueck.
The winning co-op will be back in the pool this Thursday (January 23rd) as they host Kiel-Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah at Chilton High School, while Manitowoc Lincoln will be back in action tomorrow (January 21st) as they host Bay Port.
Two Rivers-Roncalli will also hit the pool on Thursday as they travel to Plymouth.
