The Manitowoc Lincoln boys basketball team is joining forces with a school group to help local children in need.
For the past few years, the Manitowoc Lincoln FCCLA has held a teddy bear toss at a home basketball game to help bring some joy to children in the foster care system.
The public is invited to bring a teddy bear to the Ships game against the Notre Dame Tritons on Friday, January 24th, allowing you to get in for free.
Then, at half-time, everyone will throw their bears onto the court, aiming for a target at half-court.
The closest one to the target will win a prize.
The teddy bears will be collected and donated to the Manitowoc County Foster Care System.
The game at JFK Fieldhouse will tip off at 7:00 p.m.
