A popular Manitowoc County event is set to return next month.
Once again, the annual Porta Potty Races will be held at the Smiling Moose in Osmond on February 22nd.
For those unfamiliar with the ins and outs of porta-potty racing, participants build their own racing loos, homemade structures built atop skis, so their porta-potties level up from portable to race-able.
The official rules state that all porta potties must have three walls and a toilet seat, leaving room for various design strategies.
The racing teams of three or fewer member crews will push and pull their contraptions, with a person inside, 30 yards to cross the finish line.
The winner is determined with a double-elimination bracket and will take home the trophy and prizes.
Food and drinks will be available, and multiple raffle baskets will be up for bid.
The cost of registration is $40 per team.
